Kristin’s Weight Loss and Her Husband Rusty Didn’t Like It

In a recent episode of her Let’s Be Honest podcast, the former reality TV star revealed that she lost weight due to stress from an unhappy marriage. She said she got down to 102 pounds while filming Very Cavallari, which ran from 2018 to 2020.

Her family pressures her to get weight loss surgery, which she resists. Kristin feels like she has to lose weight to have children, a goal that her husband doesn’t support.

Not everyone’s so keen to see the 35-year-old become slimmer – her curve-loving man Rusty revealed he wasn’t sure if he’d fancy her if she was smaller

In a bid to get back on the right track, she’s overhauled her diet and swapped pasta for spiralized zucchini squash and Chinese takeout for home-cooked chicken and broccoli. But the couple’s relationship isn’t without its ups and downs.

While Harrison Ford’s Rusty had a calming, nothing-fazes-me demeanor, Gyllenhaal’s version of the character is visibly broken. His face shows how he feels and he struggles to hold himself together. This is especially clear when he breaks down in front of his co-workers after learning that his alleged abductor, Gary Lewis, has returned to a life of crime.

When Rusty goes to visit Lewis in prison, he finds out that he is planning to blackmail his biological mother, Sharon Beck, into returning to her criminal lifestyle. Rusty alerts the Major Crimes Division and he’s successful in stopping Lewis from carrying out his plan.

After his testimony in the Phillip Stroh case, a threatening letter arrives, prompting DDA Rios to want him placed in witness protection. However, Sharon is able to block the move and Rusty stays with her. She also reinstates some of the safety measures they had discarded previously, such as locking the doors when she’s away from the house.

Kristin is desperate to lose some weight

Kristin recently opened up about her incredibly slim appearance years ago during an episode of her fans’ Q&A on her Let’s Be Honest podcast. She said that she weighed just 102 pounds during her ’unhappy’ marriage to Jay Cutler and that the extreme weight loss was due to stress and unhappiness in the relationship.

The curve-loving star explains that she was eating “pizzas, burrito bowls and cheeseburgers” and didn’t exercise a lot. But she’s hoping to lose the excess weight because it’s affecting her fertility and she wants to have children one day. Kristin even booked a personal trainer for herself to help her shred the pounds. Rusty doesn’t seem too thrilled about this prospect. He’s worried it could end up destroying their marriage.

Rusty isn’t sure he’d want her if Kristin was smaller

Rusty is very self-absorbed, and he often lets his ego get in the way of taking advice from others. His narcissism often gets him into trouble as well. He also seems to believe that he’s too important to be helped by anyone else, which isn’t true. He’s surrounded by friends like Brock Samson, Pete White, and Master Billy Quizboy who are willing to put their lives on the line for him.

After a while, he’s so worried about his weight gain that he decides to see a doctor, who gives him a resting caloric rate test and says that he is morbidly obese. This scares him and he starts eating better and exercising. However, his attempts to lose weight haven’t been successful so far.

During this time, he begins a relationship with Bobbi, who was Jonas’s girlfriend before they broke up. She’s a very sweet woman who helps him when she can, but she’s not as committed to his weight loss as he is. She has an autographed photo of herself with him, so he thinks that she’s his mother. She’s a very good friend, though, and she’s always there when he needs her. She even gave him some of her eggs that he used to create the Hank and Dean clones.

The couple’s relationship

Some critics have claimed the show is sexist because it’s focused on women and not men, but Rusty disagrees. The commercial air-conditioning contractor explains that he and his wife Kristin decided to take part because they wanted to bring ‘normalcy’ to mixed-weight relationships. ‘Hot & Heavy’ premieres January 7 on TLC.

Kristen feels that they’re not spending enough time together, but Rusty argues that it’s healthy for couples to have their own separate interests. The couple has to find a balance that works for them, and they should talk it through. And it’s important to keep in mind that every couple is different, and everyone has a unique set of needs and desires.
